Fire Doors

It is important to remember that fire doors are designed to delay the spread of fire from one part of a building to another.  With this in mind fire doors are required to act as a barrier against smoke and fire.  Cadwell Green understand the importance of fire doorsets – they save lives and protect your property!  Therefore our doors are manufactured to exacting standards and are independently tested for fire certification. 

When specifying a fire door it is essential to take into consideration the frame, associated ironmongery and where required, any glazing which should also be independently tested for fire certification.

Cadwell Green Fire Ratings

NFR     Non Fire Rated

FD30   Fire Resistance of 30 minutes.

FD60   Fire Resistance of 60 minutes.

FD90   Fire Resistance of 90 minutes.

With the appropriate Smoke Seals these Fire-rated Doorsets can also have a “S” denomination for example FD30S, FD60S or FD90S.
